On August 11th, 2011, Mother and I went to 개미마을, which is literally "Ant Village."

The homes in Gaemi Mauel are very old, inhabited mostly by residents in their 50s and 60s who are on gov't assistence. For years, the government restricted development in the area. The restriction was lifted several years back, but not much has been developed since then.
