Nephila clavata I
Based on Good Man's research for me, I think this spider is a Nephila clavata. I saw this spider on a map. Had I known I would see at least 60 more, I wouldn't've taken this photo. I leaned against the map and looked up to take this picture. I do like how you can see a web on the Plexiglas (I certainly didn't notice it when I was shooting!) and how the spider looks like it's coming toward you. I think, based on its body shape, that this may be a male, but I am not sure.
