Putting on the Hanbok
July 11th, 2009
Good Man and I started getting dressed around 11:30 or so. Mother, Sister, and Aunt helped me. The hanbok was much more comfortable than I remembered it being.
Traditionally the bride wears a green jakcet and red skirt. The groom's mother wears two shades of blue. You can see that we broke tradition.
Under the hanbok I wore a dress shield and I am so glad that I did. It saved my hanbok from any bit of sweat, and I didn't have to worry about photos. Also, I suspect that part of the reason the hanbok was so comfortable in the armholes was because I was wearing the dress shield and it made the seams slide over everything nicely.
