Laughing and Storytelling
At some point Johnny and I started telling childhood stories—most of them involving Dad. Grandma and Grandpa, along with most of the English-speaking guests and Good Man, seemed to enjoy it.
One story was about making those folded fortune tellers as kids. We'd run around in restaurants telling people their fortunes. The hitch? It was a quarter for a good fortune and a nickle for a bad one. We did this several weekend brunches in a row until the waitresses complained because they were afraid we were making them lose out on tip money.
